4. Kaleidoscope: Limited Series
Being the first TV show released by Netflix in 2023, Kaleidoscope has been the talk of many.
It brings up memories from the Money Heist series that followed a group of criminals organizing and carrying out heists. That is exactly what Kaleidoscope delivers.
It is notable for its uniqueness for having the episodes organized in a shuffled order letting fans decide on that.
It centers around chief thief, Leo Pap and his crew of elite thieves in planning and executing a mega-heist. The plan is to break into an ‘unbreakable’ vault that will secure them $7 billion if all goes as planned. However, a lot stands in the way as greed, corruption, vengeance and betrayal slowly creep in.
The series is limited meaning that fans should not expect a second season and it spans 8 episodes. This is the kind that requires patience and keen analyzing hence no need to really rush it.
5. Women at War: Limited Series
Last is another limited series based on the First World War in the setting of France in the year 1914. French men are deployed into the Western Front of the First World War to counter the attacking German forces. The show follows the stories of four women, in different fields and the events leading to collision of their destinies.
These women offer their services including in the manufacturing industry, medical field as well as in entertainment. They are faced with various challenges and also pushed to the wall on making judgements in some occasions.
This is a show that one can enjoy watching although there shouldn’t be much expectation of male action.
This is considering that the show itself is written to cover the contributions of these women during the war.
Conclusion
In summary, these are some shows have been on the spotlight this year so far although some released last year. However, it is safe to assume that Netflix is indeed still among the greatest streaming services of this age.
